How To Use Your Smartbud

The Smartbud Ear Cleaner has been designed with ease of use as a top priority, no matter how technically-minded you are or are not. However, like all new pieces of technology, it can still take some getting used to.

This guide is here to help you get started with your new Smartbud and highlight key pieces of information so that you can start cleaning your ears the smart way as soon as it arrives at your door. You will also receive a user manual with your Smartbud that will outline everything in further detail.

As always, if you have any questions then please feel free to contact us at support@thesmartbud.com.

Before Using

Please ensure that you have read the instructions manual in full. You can download the instructions manual here.

Do NOT use the Smartbud on children under the age of 18 year, pets or animals.

The Smartbud is only to be used by yourself - not controlled by someone else.

In order to use the HD camera function of the Smartbud you will need to download the ‘Smartbud’ app from the App store (IOS) or the Google Play Store (Android). From here, please follow the in app steps to connect your Smartbud to your device. Do NOT use Smartbud to clean your ears unless you have successfully connected to your device and are streaming live video footage.

It is advised to try and soften the wax before you begin cleaning as this will make it easier to remove. Failure to soften the wax may result in irritation.

The Smartbud is only to be used to remove soft wax and loose debris. If you have hard wax or debris that is lodged in place then do not attempt to remove with the Smartbud and instead please seek medical assistance.

The Smartbud tips are threaded and screw-on to the device. The tip that is already on the device may have become loose when in transit to you so please ensure the tip is securely attached to the device before use. Failure to do so may result in the tip becoming loose whilst in use.

If you are currently experiencing any ear irritation then please consult your personal medical professional before using Smartbud. Stop using Smartbud immediately if you notice any pain or irritation when cleaning.

Do NOT use the Smartbud if you are unable to see clearly into your ear or if your ear canal is completely blocked. You should be able to see your ear canal clearly at all times.
